NAKTO WARRANTY & REFUND

All NAKTO E-bikes have coverage from the manufacturer with a year’s warranty. The owner of the bike can claim for warranty against faults in the make of the product. Please note that warrantied components will be shipped only within the US. In case your purchased bike was re-shipped to another country, you will receive component parts for US only. Nakto provides warranty for special coverage of these bikes. Warranty is for individual components for defects in processing and material.

NAKTO ELECTRIC BIKES WARRANTY

BIKE bears a year’s warranty including core components battery throttle, PAS system, controller and motor.

Components are warrantied against manufacturing defects and material issues for a year commencing from the date of purchase of unit.

WHAT CAN NAKTO DO RESOLVE ISSUES I FACE WITH MY BIKE?

If a part is found to be damaged or defected without any prior use, NAKTO will authorize issuance of a replacement component. Any part found to be damaged during shipping, will be replaced. Also, in case of failed repair attempts, Nakto may consider issuing a replacement component to the user.

WHAT NATKTO WILL NOT DO?

In case you do not enclose pictures or video of the impaired component, Nakto will not proceed the replacement process. Also, second owners of the vehicle cannot claim for the warranty. Nakto is also free from any liability to replace a component damaged by usage. For a part to be replaced by a third party, Nakto will not pay unless a prior consensus. Nakto is also free from paying for return shipment of defected component. Also, Nakto is free of any liability to cover damage caused by shipment, which was arranged by the owner of the vehicle through a freight forwarder.

NAKTO will not cover any damage that may occur during shipping if the owner sets up their own shipping option or if the bike is shipped using a freight forwarder or similar service.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

The warranty is only reserved for the first owner of the E-bike. The warranty is also limited to replacement or pair of defective parts upon discretion of Nakto only. Please be informed that the warranty does not have any coverage to damages brought by natural calamities, wrong assembly, and modification, renting out vehicle, negligence, inappropriate use, overloading, accident or the user’s failure to use the vehicle as per the instructions given in the manual. Also, the warranty may become void against wear parts, installation of components which are incompatible with the brand, lack of maintenance or poor repairing.

Entire replacement of a bike could only be made in extreme cases, whereby a user is expected to deliver the original new bike to the Nakto Centre for diagnosis of the issue. If the inspection team agrees on repairing to improve functioning, replacement of the entire bike will not be made. Consumables and wear components including tires, brake pads, grips and cables are exempt from warranty coverage.

Nakto is free from any liability against damage, or loss brought upon the owner from unauthorized dealer’s service or use of incompatible parts. Also, you as owner are requested to inform Nakto of shipping damages, if any as soon as possible following the arrival of unit. Nakto is free from any liability against direct, indirect damages, personal injury, loss or damage of the product.

CLAIMS FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE

You are advised to immediately inspect your product for any damage/defect. Claims brought against freight damages are highly time sensitive. Any claim for freight damage reported after 30 days following receipt of product will not be entertained. You are requested to notify of any damage to the product on the Bill of Lading before the shipment is signed off. To report damages, we will appreciate if you could take pictures of the damage as per date. Until the examination is done, you should retain all papers and packaging. It is recommended that you make a request for claim against damaged delivery within 10 days of delivery to the support representative of Nakto.

Q:        What is the process for Returning an Item?

A:         We are fully committed to providing excellent customer service to our users. If you are not satisfied with the quality of service, we would appreciate if you could return the unit within a period of two weeks from the date of purchase to get a full refund. However, the refunded amount will be subject to a 15-25% restocking cost.

 

Natko’s Return Policy Agreement:

You may contact our support member to get a Return Merchandise Authorization document. Returns in the absence of RMA form are not accepted. The RMA form must be submitted with photos, videos, and attestation from a certified mechanic. Following submission of the RMA form, you will get a confirmation mail within a span of two business days. Next, you will get a shipping number, RMA number and a return ID. Once received the RMA number, you should return the unit within five business days. You as the owner bear the responsibility to return the equipment to the address specified in the email. Ship collect and Cash on Delivery orders are not accepted for return.

 Returns are not accepted for vehicles damaged under the possession of the owner. Also, in case you do not possess the original packaging, user manuals or the item upon inspection is found to be slightly used, a restocking charge will be deducted from the total amount of refund.

 * Natko applies a restocking fee of 15% for unused vehicles.

 * Natko applies a restocking fee of 25% - 35% on used vehicles depending upon the condition they possess.

* However, please note that this policy does not favor returns for damaged, altered or modified vehicles or machines that have not been maintained as per the recommendation of Natko.

* Please note if you have kept a vehicle in use for more than 14 days following delivery, you will not be entitled to claim for return, replacement, if any, or refund for the product. In case of any need for repair, you may ship the vehicle or components on your own and get it repaired and shipped back at your own too.

 * To provide you with ultimate customer satisfaction, we keep lowest possible prices. Shipping charges for the product are non-refundable and cannot be reimbursed in any case. All freight charges including first delivery till return are not covered. The amount of prepaid shipping expenses will be deducted from the refund amount.

 * Items that are exempt from return policy include:

 Units damaged by owner’s use

Vehicles that have been registered prior the return request

Accessories, and Wear parts

Used items

Varying restocking fees based on condition on the returned unit may also void the return
